Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Pragya Technologies India Private Limited (“we”, “us”) does with the information you give us through https://indiancad.com. We have tried to write it in plain language rather than legal boilerplate, because a policy nobody reads protects nobody.

What we collect

We only collect what you type into a form, plus the small amount of technical information every web server receives.

• When you request a trial, a quote, a demo or a callback: your name, email address, phone number, and whichever of company name, product interest and message you choose to give.
• When you place an order: the above plus your GSTIN if you provide one, and your city and state — the state is required because it decides the GST treatment on your invoice.
• When you subscribe to updates: your email address, nothing else.
• When you use the chat box: your name and a phone number or email address so a CAD engineer can reply.
• Automatically: your IP address, an approximate location derived from it, the page you arrived from, and the date and time. This is used to route enquiries sensibly and to block automated spam.

We do not ask for, and have no use for, your date of birth, your government identifiers, or any other sensitive personal information. Please do not send them to us.

Card and payment details

We never see, handle or store your card details. When a payment is due we send you a link or an invoice, and the payment is completed with our bank or payment partner on their own secure systems. Nothing about your card, UPI handle or net-banking credentials passes through this website.

How we use it

• To answer your enquiry, prepare your quote, raise your GST invoice and deliver your licence.
• To provide support for the software you have bought.
• To send occasional product news, but only if you subscribed. Every such email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing does not affect your support or your licence.
• To keep the site working and free of automated abuse.

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not build advertising profiles.

Who else sees it

Only where the work cannot be done otherwise:

• ACTCAD’s own systems. When you request a free trial, your name, email and phone number are passed to the software publisher’s servers so that the download and licence can be issued to you.
• Our email and hosting providers, who transmit and store the enquiry on our behalf.
• Our bank or payment partner, when a payment is being collected.
• WhatsApp, if you choose to start a WhatsApp conversation with us — that conversation is governed by WhatsApp’s own privacy terms, not ours.
• YouTube, but only if you press play on one of our videos. Nothing is requested from YouTube until you do, and the player uses their no-cookie domain. Once a video is playing, YouTube (Google) sees the request as it would on their own site.
• Anyone we are legally required to disclose to, such as tax authorities or a lawful order of a court.

Cookies and browser storage

This site uses no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. What it does use:

• A standard session cookie, so anti-spam checks work across the pages of a single visit.
• Two small flags kept in your browser’s local storage, which record that you have already been shown our offer popup and that you have already sent us an enquiry — their entire purpose is to stop the site pestering you twice.

Clearing your browser’s site data removes all of these. Nothing on this site stops working if you do.

Should we add web analytics in future to understand which pages are useful, we will name the tool here and describe what it collects before switching it on.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept while they are useful for supporting you, and reviewed periodically. Order records, invoices and licence details are kept for as long as Indian tax and company law requires us to keep them — currently eight years for accounting records. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your choices

Write to sales@indiancad.com and you may ask us to:

• tell you what information we hold about you;
• correct anything that is wrong;
• delete your details, where we are not required by law to keep them (we cannot delete the record of a sale, for instance, but we can delete an unconverted enquiry);
• stop sending you marketing email, which you can also do from any such email.

We aim to reply within a few working days.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS, enquiry and order data sits in an access-controlled database, and only the members of our team who need it can see it. No system is perfect, but we do not keep what we do not need, which is the most reliable protection there is.

Children

This is a business product and the site is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be highlighted on the site.
