Cancelling an order

Email sales@indiancad.com or call +91 92461 63747 with your order reference — the IC-number we sent when you placed the order. A request in writing is best, because it timestamps itself.

Cancellation requests are accepted within 7 days of the order being placed.

What happens next

• If your licence has not yet been issued: we cancel the order immediately and return anything you have paid, in full, to the original payment method.
• If your licence has already been issued and emailed to you: the order cannot simply be cancelled, because the software is already yours and working. It becomes a refund request instead, and our refund policy applies — which is also a 7-day window, running from the date of purchase.
• If a USB dongle has already been dispatched: the dongle must come back to us in working condition before the order can be closed. We do not charge you for the return.

Orders we may cancel

Occasionally we have to cancel an order from our side — a pricing or stock error, a payment that never clears, an address we cannot verify, or an order we have reason to believe is fraudulent. If that happens we will tell you why, and anything you have paid is returned in full. We do not keep money for an order we chose not to fulfil.

Institutional and tender orders

Purchases made through GEM, a tender or an institutional purchase order are governed by the terms of that contract, which override this page where the two differ.

Timelines

Refunds arising from a cancellation are initiated within 7 working days of the cancellation being confirmed. Your bank then takes its own time — usually a further three to seven working days — to show the money in your account.
